CONGRATULATIONS to Shirley Christian of Ft. Collins, Colorado on her selection of Merriewold Galaxie!

MERRIEWOLD GALAXIE: Liver Chestnut 15h Morgan 2004 Mare

(Iron Forge Starman x Ringbrook Renaissance)

Her sire is one of the few Morgans to ever make the Grand Prix level of dressage. Galaxie began her training at the Radtke Ranch, where she became a Training Level winner under saddle and also learned to drive. After a break in the field since the summer to mature, Gal is back in training and ready to show for you in whatever sport discipline you choose! A half sibling to EMR Winchester, who has won national championship in jumping and also competes Preliminary eventing. She's great hacking out alone or in a group, she's laid back and quiet, and she'll even pop over jumps if you like.

Galaxie's 2009 accomplishments include--

  • Morgan Medallion Regional, Santa Barbara: 1st Dressage First Level Test 1 Open, 1st Hunter Pleasure Novice Horse
  • Grand National & World Championship Morgan Horse Show: Grand National Champion Dressage Training Level Test 3 Open, Top Five World Champion Dressage Training Level, Top Five Grand National Dressage Training Level Test 2 Open, Top Five Grand National Dressage Training Level Test 5 Open

Don't let this young star slip out of your hands, she'll be a family favorite for years to come! Priced reasonably at $15,000.

Her new video (Video 1) shows her winning at a recent Triple Rated Show with an impressive 68.2%!

LUCID OPPOSITION: Bay Trekhener/Morgan/TB 2006 Mare

(Fleetwater Opposition [TRK] x Clairvoyant [Morgan/TB])

Currently 15.2h, should mature to 15.3+, this beautiful young mare will undoubtedly fulfill our dreams in the event field. Her sire hails from England and is the leading Event Horse Sire in that country. Fleetwater Opposition (pictured below) has numerous three and four star performance babies, including the incomparable beauty, Summer Song (pictured below), a member of the French Olympic Team. Lucy's dam is our first Morgan/TB cross that began her winning ways from the very first event she attended. Just starting her formal training, Lucy has an unbelievably willing attitude that will no doubt help her to excel to the highest levels of Eventing. She is truly the "whole package" when it comes to trainability and talent. Photos at right taken April 2009. Currently in foal to Ariadus for a 2010 foal due May 30th. Lucy will be available for purchase after her foal is weaned.

CONGRATULATIONS to Joan Warner of Camino, CA on her purchase of

ILLUSTRIOUS: Brown/white pinto Dutch/TB mare

(Juss For The Taste [KWPN] x City Girl [TB])

This 16h mare should mature to 16.1h+. She is the real deal--talented, smart, beautiful and a color that won't be missed in the field! She has very even movement and a fantastic jump. Her sire is by the legendary Samber, sire of Art Deco, Domino, West Star and many others. Samber was one of the only stallions ever to receive a perfect "10" on temperament in the Hundred Day Stallion Testing. "Lily's" dam was an upper level eventer. Lily is working beautifully on the flat, schooling small grids and natural obstacles, and hacking out quietly in groups or alone. You can't lose with this youngster's upper level talent and extreme trainability!
